A senior AI consultant, Eric operates at the intersection of business, technology, and law, educating corporations on AI’s risks and benefits, identifying implementation opportunities, and ensuring AI governance. He monitors legal and regulatory developments, designs pilot programs, oversees adoption, and advises executives on best practices and next steps.
Driven by the belief that technology should serve people, and that leadership, empathy, teambuilding and project management are essential for effective technological change, Eric approaches AI as a practical science. He begins each project by laying a strong groundwork for success—understanding the client’s business goals and expectations, stakeholders, and organizational dynamics. He works with everyone from frontline staff to executives to identify value, build comfort with the technology, and enable adoption, then collaborates with security, IT, and compliance teams to ensure integrations are effective and secure.
Prior to joining Husch Blackwell Consulting, Eric helped multibillion-dollar corporations to nonprofits enhance their processes by successfully launching new technologies. Clients value his energy, curiosity, and reliability, as well as his genuine interest in understanding their work.
An innovator in his own right, Eric founded the American Society of Legal Engineers (ASLE), a nonprofit dedicated to advancing smarter and more equitable legal services through cross-sector collaboration and innovation. Solutions combine systems thinking, data, and emerging technologies—including AI—to design, build, and enhance legal processes and products.
He also is a founding volunteer of the AI Collective’s Chicago chapter, connecting AI leaders to share insights, foster collaboration, and advance the field. The chapter also hosts demo nights with tech founders to showcase emerging innovations.
